On Sunday, March 16, one of Logan Elm’s students was honored at a reception of the Zonta Club of Columbus. Janie Waidelich, a senior from Logan Elm High School was the recipient of the Outstanding Young Women Award.  She was one of only twelve girls across Ohio to receive such an honor.  Janie was chosen based on scholastic achievements, leadership, and service to her school and community.

At Logan Elm Janie is involved in varsity softball and is the senior class vice president.  Janie also participates as an officer in Key Club.  She is the NHS president and the co-editor of Skandha.  In the community, Janie takes part in 4-H and is on the Pickaway County Junior Fair Board.  Janie also maintains an honors grade point average.

Congratulations, Janie, on your achievements.  Good luck on all that you do in the future.  We know that you will succeed in all that you do.
