Mr.Jean teaches Special Needs Social Studies, Health and Physical Education. He has been teaching at Logan Elm since 2001. Mr. Jean is a graduate of Logan Elm High School (1992) and received his B.A. in Teaching Health and Physical Education K-12 with a minor in Coaching from Muskingum College in 1996. While at Muskingum, Mr.Jean also played defensive back and special teams. He received his Master's degree from Marygrove College in 2000. In 2002 he received his Intervention Specialist Degree from University Rio Grande. In 2008 he became highly qualified to teach Social Studies. Prior to coming to Logan Elm Mr. Jean taught at Mechanicsburg Village Exempted Schools as an elementary Physical Education teacher, defensive coordinator for the varsity football team, boys head track coach in 1997-1998. In 1998-2001, he taught Health and Physical Education at Teays Valley Middle School. He also coached varsity football, high school track and middle school wrestling at Teays Valley. He has taught Special needs- Math, Social Studies, Health and Physical Education at Logan Elm. He coached Varsity football from 2001-2004. He is the proud husband of Megan, father of Gavin and soon to be the father of a baby girl.
