Mock Accident- Logan Elm High School is working closely with the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office, the Pickaway Township Fire Department, Survival Flight, and our FFA chapter to help bring awareness to distracted driving. We will be conducting a Mock Accident on Friday, October 12th beginning at 1:45 in the front lawn of the campus. Students will experience a mock accident scene with simulated responses from the Emergency rescue crews from the Fire Department and Survival Flight. These reenactments can have a strong impact on students and any student who has experienced a traumatic experience may struggle during this mock accident. Please know any student who is struggling with this may avoid this reenactment by reporting to the office.
Homecoming Dance- Our annual homecoming dance will be this Saturday in the McDowell Gym from 7:00-10:00 pm. Any student bringing a date from another school must have a dance form completed and on file in the High School Office. In a continued effort to enforce an appropriate dancing policy, once again, we will be enforcing a "face to face" only dancing policy.
Pumpkin Show Workers- Our Athletic and Band Booster's have booths at the Pumpkin Show and desperately need help from parents to work shifts during the show. Our Booster organizations provide thousands of dollars every year for our kids. Please contact your coach or director to schedule a shift. Thank you for your support!
Student Showcase- Logan Elm High School will be holding a student showcase on November 1st from 4:00-7:00 pm. During the showcase we will display student work in the cafeteria and we will have multiple informational sessions ranging from Financial Aide, Ohio Means Jobs, Job and Family Services, Pickaway Addiction Action Coalition, School Levy information, Graduation 101, and our annual College Credit Plus meeting for the 2019-2020 School Year. Everyone is invited to see samples of student projects and to gain important information regarding College and Workforce.
